Coco-Glucoside is a plant-derived cleansing ingredient made from coconut or palm kernel oil and glucose. It belongs to the family of non-ionic surfactants, which means it helps water mix with oil and dirt so they can be rinsed away. In formulas, it is valued for creating a gentle but effective cleanse with moderate to high foam that tends to feel soft rather than stripping.
On skin, Coco-Glucoside is commonly used in face washes, body cleansers, and micellar-style products because it helps remove sweat, excess oil, sunscreen, and everyday buildup while being milder than many stronger detergents.
