CI 14700 is a synthetic cosmetic colorant, also known as Red 4, used to give products a bright pink-to-red shade. It doesn’t act like a skincare active or treatment ingredient; its main job is visual. In hair products, it may be used mainly for appearance rather than any conditioning effect.
