Augustinus Bader is a German luxury brand founded in 2018 by biomedical professor Augustinus Bader, a specialist in tissue regeneration from the University of Leipzig. The entire line is based on the patented TFC8® (Trigger Factor Complex 8) complex: a blend of amino acids, vitamins and the proprietary peptide Oligopeptide—177, developed on the basis of 30 years of clinical research on burn healing. According to the brand, TFC8® directs active substances directly to target cells and triggers cellular renewal mechanisms.

The product formulations are formulated competently and honestly regarding their price segment. The brand's shampoos work on a mild surfactant system (Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate, Sodium Methyl Cocoyl Taurate, Decyl Glucoside) without SLS, SLES, silicones, parabens and fragrances.
