Salicornia Herbacea Extract

A plant extract coming from glasswort, a type of succulent that grows in the salt marshes along the coastline of South Korea. According to its Korean manufacturer, it contains good-for-the-skin things like betaine, amino acids and minerals and the extract can strengthen the skin barrier, increase skin recovery and provide deep moisturization effect. 

There is also an in-vitro (not done on real people but in the lab) study from 2009 that shows promising antioxidant and skin whiting propertiesabout the Salicornia Herbacea Extract and concludes that "it would be a good candidate for skin rejuvenating agent".
