Glycine Soja Sterols

Glycine Soja Sterols are plant-derived sterols extracted from soybean oil. In skincare and haircare, they’re used as a supportive, barrier-friendly ingredient that helps formulas feel more conditioning and less drying. Sterols are structurally similar to some of the lipids naturally found in skin, so they can help soften, smooth, and improve the feel of rough or depleted skin and hair.

For skin, Glycine Soja Sterols are often included in moisturizers, serums, and cleansing products to support a comfortable, supple finish and reduce that stripped feeling some formulas can leave behind. For hair, they may help improve softness, manageability, and shine by contributing a more lubricated, conditioned feel.
